  • 3 Easy Steps To Get a Tax Refund
    Follow these easy steps to claim your tax refund:

    - Step 1
    1) If you've made a purchase of over 15,000KRW at our affiliated stores, request a Global Refund check.
    2) The Downtown Tax Refund limit is 6,000,000KRW.
    3) Immediate refund one time purchase amount is 1,000,000KRW.
    4) The total immediate refund limit during your stay is 5,000,000KRW.

    Shinsegae Outlet offers on-site tax refunds through tax refund kiosks.

    - Step 3
    In airport, Obtain a customs stamp from a customs officer upon departure. Present your 'passport', 'purchased item', and 'Global Refund check'. Remember, purchased items must be taken out of Korea within 3 months from the date of purchase.

    · You must obtain a customs stamp to receive a refund. You will not be able to receive a refund without it.
    · For checked-in items (non-hand carry items), ensure you get a customs stamp before sending your luggage.
